I’ve had two experiences with family law attorneys; the first horrible & the second with Mary Ann Collins and her staff including legal assistant Dawn was excellent! The first in my 2008 divorce; I spent 20k plus and not only did I get the short end, that attorney couldn’t even remember my name…. My X who still struggles with alcoholism, drugs, and mental illness got primary custody of my oldest who was scarred with similar issues as a result. Fast forward to 2023 when I pursued guardianship of her daughter (my granddaughter); I contacted Mary Ann who cared for my whole family, was empathetic, listened, always returned my calls timely, did the work, and after anther very painful process won permanent custody and gave my granddaughter the stability she needed.
