Had a consultation with them which was a week out, I was asked to bring my SSDI denial paperwork in. I brought it in personally and confirmed my consultation appointment. A week later I called after the consultation window passed and was told that my appointment was rescheduled on the same day I confirmed it. I then confirmed the new consultation appointment a week after. Come the day of consultation they NEVER called again. My window was 1pm-4pm. They aren’t even open past 3pm!!! They never called. I went in today and asked for my paperwork I gave them and was told they have to print it out because they scanned the paperwork I dropped off and then shredded it. I would recommend finding a different lawyer as they did not act like they even care about my case. I am a 100% disabled veteran and couldn’t imagine my SSDI case being that difficult.
Filing a complaint with the Iowa bar. They haven’t represented my daughter at all, sat on one phone call with disability and said nothing, been fired since end of December but today I get a letter that says they still represent my daughter. I told disability they were not to receive any of my files or decisions. They agreed with disability on their decision knowing it’s not right. 2 of them there have said they been doing it 20yrs they know best… And kept fees after Janette said “we don’t want your $1000” yet there they are keeping it. And now saying they will take more in letter today. I’m very pissed off about all this.
