Strap-in kids, this is going to be a long one! In October of 2023 I was involved in a motorcycle accident. Someone with zero concern for public safety decided to get behind the wheel at almost 2x the legal limit and then NOT stop behind me while I was waiting at a stop sign on my NEW motorcycle. This one careless decision landed me in the ER trauma bay stripped of my clothing (and dignity) while a whirlwind of strangers tornado-ed around me. The following days, weeks, and months were a nightmare. I ended up worse than I wanted to admit, missed so much work and feared losing my (new) job, saw 3 different types of therapists, traumatized my husband and kids, dealt with post-concussion syndrome and the list goes on. I was stressed and mad (still am!) and overwhelmed. I didn’t want to hire an attorney at first because it sounded like such a daunting thing to do, and we all hear the stories about money hungry lawyers. This was not the case. They took care of everything with very little needed from me – they were so productive behind the scenes that I actually worried at times that they forgot me, or I forgot to do something. They dealt with my constant questions, complaining about the “other guy” and his insurance company, and handled my forgetfulness with grace. EVERY single person I dealt with at Pemberton was incredible. They were caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, patient, kind… the exact opposite of every lawyer joke you’ve ever heard. It didn’t feel like that gross fake niceties, either. It generally felt like they enjoyed their jobs and cared about me. We all know there are buckets full of PI attorney’s, but now that I have had to go through something like that, I know I made the right choice going with Pemberton. They made an awful situation manageable, and while I feel like the courts failed me on the criminal side of things, Pemberton fought for me. I still get a small knot in my stomach when people pull up too close or too fast behind me, but they have done their best to make me as close to “whole” again as possible. My case was not “difficult” per se, because the liability was pretty clear, but there was still so much to do that I simply did not have time for, and they had to deal with the other insurance company’s adjuster; which that in itself earned them every penny they made. They got me a very good and very fair settlement, and it was MORE than I stated I wanted to feel as though I received some justice. Zach, Rhyan, Emily, Tamarra, Michelle, Jenny and Jaimie (I hope I didn’t forget anyone!!) I hope you know that I truly appreciate you all and am eternally grateful that I had you on my side. My only regret is that I did not get to meet and shake hands with every single person that helped. I know if I EVER have to be in such an unfortunate situation again, I will be making a call to Pemberton.

I was visiting my Mother in Wisconsin, from Florida. I took a pretty good fall in a restaurant I stopped at on the way home. The floors were wet, didn’t see any signs warning of wet floors, and down I went! I landed on my prothsthetic knee!! I ended up with a fractured kneecap and severe back spasms! I was referred to Pemberton by someone that I work with after I had been in a car accident. The very next day after the accident, the insurance company of the person who hit me was already offering to settle with me. Pay for my car fixed pay for medical bills up to $15,000 and $3000 pain and suffering. I hadn’t even seen a doctor yet. I contacted Pemberton and they took over. Keeping track of all of my doctor appointments, mileage and time lost and throughout all of this. Since I’m not an expert at this, it was easy to get a hold of them ask questions through a simple app on my phone. Finally, after I ended up going through surgery, calling to check on me to see how he’s doing and just simply stay in touch. They are truly like having a good friend being there for you.
