Worst attorney ever…paid him $14,000 dollars for nothing. He took advantage of the situation we were in and literally made all these promises that he didn’t fulfill. The judge found him in contempt of court at one of the hearings. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but its been years since he represented me and I can’t forget how bad I got screwed. Please think twice before hiring Michael Maistelman, he does a terrible job at everything. He is the Epitome of a money hungry lawyer that isn’t looking out for your best interest.

I am on the board of the Newport, a high rise on the Prospect Ave., and we hired Michael Maistelman as our attorney to remove a “comfort dog” from our pet-free building where the owner had very dubious documentation for justifying the animal. We are not anti -legitimate service animals, but this was a blatant fraud. A couple of attorneys were not interested in the case since they felt it was too difficult a case to win. Michael took it on and very delicately proceeded to win our case. The entire board including our ardent dog lovers were very pleased with Michael’s work. We highly recommend his work.
