Doug Engelman did not meet nearly any of my expectations along with the rest of the firm. Along with what I feel is overcharging and many MANY other reasons, I strongly recommend if you need lawyers in Lycoming County to get OUTSIDE of Lycoming County.

George Lepley isn’t the lawyer he used to be (unless his reputation in the past was nothing but bluff). Doesn’t return calls, doesn’t recognize his own clients at court appearances because he collects your money without in person consult, gives you a different price every time you speak to him, doesn’t fight for you. I agree with another person’s review. All he does is make deals with prosecutors that change when you go to court. He’s an overpriced hack.

I spoke to Attorney Jason Lepley when I was considering getting a divorce. I cannot stress how glad I am that I spoke to him before I did anything at all. Actions have consequences and if you don’t know the law it doesn’t matter. If you act before consulting a competent attorney I promise you will regret it. I met with Mr. Lepley and told him my circumstances. He gave me advice that literally saved me thousands of dollars, just by not making a simple mistake. I know I saved at least $10,000! He worked on a retainer and because we were able to reach an agreement I even got a good chunk of the retainer back. His competent advice helped me to take actions which resulted in my case being resolved quicker and with less financial cost to me. I cannot thank him and his staff enough!

It is my understanding that George Lepley is better served by a DUI conviction in Lycoming County than an acquittal.
Lepley works with the police to convict you . Never goes to trial . Pushes you to take a plea so the DA gets a conviction everytime . Worst experience ever !!!

Working with Janice Yaw was a great experience. She was always very responsive detailed and eager to help. She always would explain things in a manner that someone with out experience would understand. She always had a sense of humor about things but could get very serious and defend the process. Great team of people all around.
