We had a graduation lunch for 25+ at the Corner Pocket and the owner & staff were fabulous. They created a custom menu for our group’s many dietary restrictions. All the food was beautifully presented and tasted great!

Me and some friends came in town wanted a place to chill play pool eat food and Kim our waitress was great plus they have outside games . Food was really good drinks were good great atmosphere will definitely be coming back and if you have a chance and go ask for kim.

So, it’s time for an update. As it seems The Corner Pocket has updated their status, i shall update my review. So after not been here in a couple years, MAJOR updates from bathrooms, staff,menu, music, vibes, all changes for the better! This place i believe is still amazing for just needing something to do and having fun. As well, as I stated before, updated patio and menu, definitely bring out of town family and friends! No one will leave unhappy! Promise. And if you do, oh gawd it was a terrible day and Murphys law was in full effect. Lol. Just sayin. Have fun!

Visited twice over 3 days. The first was on a Saturday night, LIVE music and pretty busy. My family and I shot pool for a couple hours on very nice, well kept tables. Our server was awesome and she was so kind and accomadating, helping us with the menu and always checking on us. She had a lot to do, but we were impressed with how she managed to handle the crowds. We ordered the chicken nachos, chicken strips and bacon/cheese quesadilla………all were great considering that the establishment is a pool hall and bar.

Played pool with a 6 person group. Was very affordable and fun. Drinks at the bar were triple the price. Total tab was 130$ for the 6 of us. Shots at the bar were 12$ a piece for rail when ordering outside of the pool tab. Doesn’t add up.

Visited last weekend around 3:00 as a party of two, and the service, food, and atmosphere were incredible. There was a good amount of buzz with people eating in booths and playing pool, but it wasn’t too loud or crowded. Staff were friendly and quick, but the NC BBQ chicken sandwich was the star of the show. A week later and we’re considering making the drive from Virginia Beach back to Williamsburg to have another. Great food and nice staff make for a 5/5 for us!

This place is cute, and has lots of games and activities. Unfortunately it was raining and cold so we weren’t able to play any. So we just ate. The waitress was friendly, took our order, repeated our order back to us and everything was correct. The food came out in an acceptable amount of time. This is where things went downhill. I ordered a pomegranate limeade. It was literally soda water, a splash of grenadine and a lime wedge. Pretty disappointing. Then they gave my son BBQ wings, not buffalo. No biggie, I just asked nicely for the correct wings. They simply covered the BBQ wings in buffalo sauce. They were really horrible. That is NOT an acceptable solution. But then the waitress disappeared. She never came back during the meal. No drink refills, no check-in etc. We needed napkins, drinks and I would have appreciated the correct order for my son. It wasn’t busy, there was one other person in there at the same time.

In a word, disappointing. Hadn’t been there in a while, thought we’d check ot out. Felt sorry for the one waitress who had so many tables to wait and bus, the bartender finally came to take our order. So my rating is for food because it would be unfair to rate service. So the food… first, we noticed that the, posted on the wall, Wednesday special was $12 burgers ( with a “s”). Don’t get me wrong, the burger was ok, but when the bill came, the burger was $18. When we questioned the cost, we were informed that the $12 was not for the burger ordered. Would have been nice to know that before we ordered, would have ordered tha quesadilla. My $21 fish and chips consisted of 3 little sticks of cod reminiscent of the fish sticks i had as a kid. Waffle fries were crunchy, not crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Add an old fashioned and sangria and were talking $80. So food, fair, but not what I consider good value. Don’t see us going back there any time soon.

The Corner Pocket has a very nice atmosphere. It is calm and not too loud. You can carry on a conversation with others, and there is no problem hearing them. The waitress we had was very observant to our needs. The food is just fabulous. I got the chicken sandwich with pesto. Omg was it yummy. I just love their waffle fries, and they come in a small basket with your meal. I highly recommend the Corner Pocket. It is one of my favorite places to eat in Williamsburg.
