Been with MBL since 2022. Promised to help increase spousal support, never happened. Said they could help increase child support, never happened. May or may not return messages, emails and calls. Communicates extremely infrequently and sometimes only 30 minutes or so before a hearing. Weeks or months will go by without concerns addressed or questions answered. They are really good and billing regularly and for as much as they possible can get. Want to feel confused, frustrated and on a hamster wheel? This is place for you, 4/10 do not recommend.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this firm. I went through a divorce where my ex cheated on me in miraculous fashion. I was in a bad way over it all and on the brink of suicide. I was hoping to find an advocate to help me navigate my divorce. This firm was not it. For background I’m a firefighter. My ex got our house and the equity, our savings and max child support payments (not to be adjusted unless I have my children 70% or more of the time), and a split of retirement savings and I assume all our debt (vehicle and student loans acquired during the marriage). I “got” to keep my pension. My attorney did zero research regarding my position and it showed. I later learned there is a pension payout I could’ve utilized that would’ve let me keep a portion of my equity in the house. I also learned since I’m on a 56 hour work week, my wages should have been adjusted to only reflect 40 of the 56 hours I work. This would have also helped knowing and I could’ve also gotten more time with my children. Now I’m floundering in debt as my ex burns through all of the money I spent 14 years of my life earning. Now I’m spending more money trying to undo what little I can. If you find yourself in a similar position, find another option. I can refer better attorneys now but was naive to how bad I was going to be represented with this firm.
