I had a great experience with Sudeepta Singla. Although COVID happened and things moved even slower, she made sure to keep me updated and also kept me in the loop about what to expect at each hearing. She was prepared at each hearing and that is what separated her from the opposing attorney. She’s passionate about her job and has compassion for her client. The fees were competitive when compared to the other attorneys that I consulted with. I also liked the free consultation, which is something that other attorneys did not offer. Sudeepta wanted to make sure that she was a good fit for me and I was a good fit for her.

I used them for my divorce, at first it was great, afterwards towards the end, no communication. I would leave messages just to have and idea of how long e t, no responses no reply not even a courtesy call. Kinda not a Texan attitude of friendliness or courtesy much here. The secretary is nice but doesn’t know anything nor does anyone else. Months went by w/o knowing what was happening. Don’t recommend if communication is important to you. No not a gross misrepresentation. No she did not communicate weekly, often I would call and ask a question just trying to figure out what is going on and would maybe get a question answered a week later. My final decision tree came for me to sign with zero explanation of what everything meant even though I called and asked for some clarification.. no reply.. no explanation just a blind request for a signature with a lot of legal terminology i didn’t understand. When I try to ask what it all meant several times and had to practically beg for a phone call which I never got unless it was the secretary who really didn’t know anything or could explain more I would ask what I needed to do next, there is usually no reply, or an update, just one day a form will appear in my email requesting a signature or for me to notarize and return to an address a P.O. Box without a zip code. I felt very confused about the entire process and felt strongly like my case really wasn’t important to them. I had a friend I was gonna refer but I don’t want them to be stressed out like I was through this process. If someone goes on maternity leave, and I understand life happens, then they should appoint someone capable to be able to answer questions. At the end I blindly signed, had no choice, just wanted it over with…

Save your time and your money I was overcharged for my services with sudeepta And after firing her as my attorney today I was able to walk into the courtroom by myself and negotiate a better deal then she initially got me for temporary orders. I actually pay less child support now and I negotiated more time with my child then she ever tried to get. I walked in by myself without her representation and talked to the judge and got a better deal then she would have ever got me. So again if there was Zero Stars I would give zero Stars she was very disrespectful and rude. And could not answer simple questions she was just after my money..

Sudeepta Singla was my attorney and it was an awful experience. She does the minimum she can, and that is where she stands. I needed to draft a custody agreement for 50/50 and many times she mentioned you can customize it to what you would like, when it came down to my asks, she would mention to not deviate from what is standard, that that is what was best. Many times she was rude and simply did not care.

I had to fire them due to no update. Called last week and was told I’d have an update. I personally think the attorney might be good and I got a great vibe, but the office staff ghosted me for days. Then once I sent an email to fire them, they finally contacted me with an update and an invoice for the money they’re charging me. The only time I ever spoke with my attorney in the past two weeks was during the consultation when she took the retainer.

She is an extremely talented attorney, I was blessed to have found her and her firm. My court case is still ongoing but our first day in court she kept opposing counsel on his back foot. So much so that after constantly being objected to and having every one be sustained when the time came one was not he carried on as of it was. Truly amazing! She is well prepared in court, she came with everything needed digitally and hard copies in case the judge wanted paper in hand or there happened to be some technical hiccup. She concentrated on what was important to the case now and saved anything that could wait for later. So far I’ve been able to get what I’ve asked for and managed to keep custody of my 4 children, which were most important to me. She truly is a wolf among sheep, if you need a family law attorney 5 stars does not do Sudeepta Singla justice.
