Complete waste of time and money!!! MY wife and I used this office and hired David’s wife Michelle Slimak for our step parent adoption. After 12 months and over 6k dollars later we were no closer to the end of an uncontested adoption then from the file date. Given the run around with false information while just adding to the bill. We hired a new attorney and completed our adoption 5 months later with no issues at all.

6k for them to do absolutely nothing.. they are a complete fraud. They straight up lied to my face to get the retainer, saying I wasn’t married to my ex he can’t just get 50/50. My daughter had no idea who her dad was because he chose not to see her. They ended up telling me they passed a law saying every father gets 50/50 now and washed their hands of me. They lied to get the money and did absolutely nothing.

I used David’s office for two matters. Not only did he make me uncomfortable during my divorce, putting his hands on my legs in a courthouse, but his protege Brad took my retainer for a lawsuit they were to supposed to help me with. They took my money, but did absolutely nothing. During my divorce David convinced me to settle even though my ex had violated numerous court orders, and was abusing our foster child. Now I’m stuck constantly fighting to get my ex to follow our settlement agreement. 100% do not recommend. If you are a woman, find someone else. Anyone else.

I had the worst experience with David McArtor. Victim of domestic violence and Mother of 3 young children going through a divorce. He advised me to drop the protection order so things would work out easier. Was never able to allow me to go back to my home and couldn’t get me temp. support for the children. The only thing he managed to do is take all of my money and quit on me with no results. Never returned any phone calls and was completely rude when he did. He definitely doesn’t side with the woman, 100% do not recommend .

I retained David in November 2022 on civil matter against my ex husband. HORRIBLE Attorney do not use if you’re a woman. Takes the man’s side. For the preliminary hearing he sent his assistant that wasn’t prepared. Embarrassed me and himself in his inability to answer the Magistrates questions. David would never return my phone calls or answer my emails. He would degrade me in any meetings. I feel he didn’t know how to proceed with my case. He discharged himself prior to the court date.
