I was referred to Jon Kurtz by my estate attorney. Jon enlisted partner Elise Whitley for perspective and backup. While no one enjoys a divorce, Jon and Elise made it understandable for me, a first timer. As we worked through the process, I gained confidence in their knowledge and capabilities. While researching divorce opinions, I found case law that Jon had argued (successfully). Good to have that experience in your corner. Not to mention an adjunct professor at Wake Forest and a Legal Elite.
Bennett was my attorney. It was quite an experience. I see him as a Superman figure. An expensive one, but genuine! Kind. Thoughtful. Smart. He listened. He understood how to represent me in a very painful situation. I always felt like a human and not a number. I got a really amazing result from him, a monetary resolution. While money doesn’t fix everything, I think it’s what you strive for in terrible circumstances because what else can you do? It’s the justice he provides. He also gave me a lot of good advice and was honorable. I respect him. If you are a woman in need of help, he is compassionate and understands. He will fight for you. I am very thankful for this firm and for Bennett Rainey. Thank you.
I had the privilege of working with Bennett Rainey at Kurtz, Whitley, Guy, Sanders & Rainey on my divorce case. Bennett was highly professional, communicative, and displayed exceptional expertise in family law. He showed care for me and my case – I never felt like any question was too silly to ask, and he kept me well informed and updated throughout every step of the process. I highly recommend Bennett to anyone seeking a trustworthy, skilled, and caring divorce attorney. He goes above and beyond to advocate for his clients and navigates the complexities of divorce law with integrity and expertise. I could not have asked for a better experience.
Bennett and Kimberly were very thoughtful and thorough with my case. It was the BEST experience I have had with a lawyer and paralegal. The thing that stood out the most was there genuine attitude toward me in every way and step. Even when I decided I didn’t need to continue services because I chose to work things out with my husband, they wished me nothing but great success. If I could give a million stars I would. Hands down, 100%, HIRE BENNETT!!!
Bennett was referred to me for divorce proceedings following many months of mental, verbal and emotional abuse in my marriage. He was so incredibly supportive and caring about my case and genuinely wanted to help get it resolved. He was very attentive and informative, listening to my thoughts and providing great advice. He definitely had my best interests at heart, going above and beyond, even calling just to check in and to ask how I was doing (and how my dog was doing)! Hopefully, I won’t need to contact him again, but I would recommend Bennett to anyone searching for an amazing, thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable attorney to help them with divorce issues! Thank you, Bennett, and your team!!! You all were so helpful in such a tough situation!
Jon Kurtz and his team were fantastic to work with. Very knowledgeable and thorough.
Bennett Rainey is a stellar lawyer, he went out of his way to ensure that I was informed about every step in the process for all of the matters he has handled for me. I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive, caring and knowledgeable lawyer to fight for me and my little girl. He helped me with settling a divorce, equitable distribution of property, and most recently (and most importantly) custody of my daughter. I would hire him a thousand times over, and in fact am still using him in some on going matters. Do yourself a favor and hire Bennett, he will fight for you and what is most precious to you; your family.
Bennett Rainey has represented me since June 2021 and he is compassionate, caring, knowledgeable and an EXCELLENT Advocate! I could not have made it through my significant life event without him! He is ALWAYS available and has valuable wisdom and guidance for navigating the issues with my case. I cannot say enough great things about his expertise, but HIGHLY recommend him if you are looking for a very professional, sharp, compassionate and caring attorney! He is all those things and more. I will forever be grateful for everything he has done to help me and my case! A+++++
Susan Simos represented me in my divorce ED case. Sharp eye for details, she didn’t miss a thing. She was compassionate yet completely honest about what my expectations should be. No promising the planet and delivering a grain of dirt, the final agreement is exactly what she estimated. Her approach with my case was to work it out in mediation, which I initially thought would be impossible, but she had me grow confident she could along the way, and did. Susan and her team, Brittany Robinson and Kimberly Canter, do not “stuff” the invoices and with ample communication my total by the end of it all was quite reasonable. Most of my communication was with Susan and Brittany, they weren’t just my legal team, they were my allies through a difficult time.
Very knowledgeable legal team. Highly recommend Susan Simos and Brittany Robinson. They have been great to work with during our custody case over the past year. Always available.
Jon and LuAnn are otherworldly. They handled my family’s (complicated, very sensitive) case with hyper-vigilance, tact and sincere care. I was continuously impressed by their skillful communication — they explained without condescending, listened with deep empathy, somehow managed to make light when we were navigating deep water. Could never recommend them enough.
I reached out to Elise Whitley to assist me in finalizing my divorce. She made a situation I was beginning to feel impossible POSSIBLE. Not only did she and her team get the job done but they did it very efficiently and with a high degree of professionalism. Super responsive and attentive to my needs. Definitely worth every penny!
My experience was one of prompt service and utmost professionalism. I was living in Europe when I needed legal representation and the folks I worked with–both the attorney and assistants–were thorough, caring, responsive, and effective.
We hired Jon Kurtz during a highly stressful time in our lives. He represented me during my separation and child custody case. He did an absolutely phenomenal job!!! Jon and his team worked diligently to ensure I understood everything in the process. They made certain the proceedings were as stress-free as possible and kept me informed of my options. I never felt like I was left in the dark wondering what was going on. If you want one of the top lawyers around, no need to look any further!!!! Jon and his team are truly the best.
The law firm came to my rescue in the lowest part of my life to help me sustain custody of my 3 boys. A SPECIFIC SHOUT OUT TO SUSAN SIMOS and BRITTANY who changed my stars and helped mend our family. They are a family law firm that believes in families. I would recommend no one else. You may have a specific way you want to handle your attorney but sometimes you have trust them and keep your mouth closed. There are a lot of experienced attorneys but to them your just a number to me this firm feels like a real extended family. You will not find any firm willing to do more and TRUST ME, they wish they could just make things better on an instant but reality is reality. I have been a loyal client for years and will stay a loyal client. Thank You SUSAN and BRITTANY along with all your co partners in the firm who support you as well. They deserve praise as well! You made this dad believe in hope!
