Our experience with Jim and Karen was excellent in spite of the difficulties that the Covid19 pandemic added to the situation. It was amazing that Jim was willing to meet with us in the home (mask and all) because my mother couldn’t walk to meet with him at the office.

In January of 2018 I was involved in a rear-end collision, which resulted in the need to have extensive back surgery. I hired Jim Reed at the Ziff Law Firm to represent me and deal with the insurance companies, knowing that I would be in the most capable hands, no matter how long or difficult the case would become.

Counter point……..I’ve noticed that this law firm responded to several reviews stating they had no record of them and that they believed the review to be fake. This is not a fake review and I just want people to know that the reason they might not have records of these people is….they never took the case. That happened with us. Many years ago my wife was shot in the wrist by teenagers in a house, shooting at cars, and they ‘accidentally’ missed the cars and hit my wife. We went to this law firm asking if they’d represent her. We were told despite, the fact she still had the pellet lodged her in wrist, and was waiting for surgery to remove it that…….we most certainly had a case but ‘they’ (meaning this law firm) wouldn’t make enough money on the case to warrant them taking it. Oddly enough the one teenager who was the most responsible for this incident not six months later assaulted an old lady, in broad daylight, at the Jubilee plaza.

Jim is one of the great upstate personal injury lawyers. His knowledge is deep, his heart is big, and his passion is strong. He is equally well respected by defense lawyers and fellow plaintiff lawyers. He is also one of the most ethical lawyers I have had the privilege of knowing.

My 10 year old son was involved in a hit and run accident while innocently riding his bike in our neighborhood. Thankfully he was not seriously injured but we still needed legal advice. We were connected to Jim Reed at Ziff Law through an organization called Bike Law, an independent national network of bicycle crash attorneys. Jim was awesome!
