I absolutely LOVE Flesner Wentzel! They have helped us so much and literally made our case do a complete 180 and the things we was already supposed to be getting because we was doing everything that was asked of us we are now finally getting after hiring these Great woman!! Super amazing! I trust no one else

I had an easy time with the processing of my divorce. Everyone on the team both friendly and effective. I am a part of the lgbtq+ community and everyone on the team was very respectful and supportive, as well as going out of their way to include correct language and name in documents. I had little to do on my part and they took care of the rest in what was a really emotionally vulnerable time for me. While it was probably a fairly easy case on their end, it was utterly overwhelming on my part so they made sure I understood everything thoroughly in the moment. It also ended up being far less expensive than I had originally thought, which was a pleasant surprise.

Beware!!! I paid them enough money to buy a brand new car only to have them withdraw from my case after almost two years when I only owed them $132 that wasn’t even due yet. They were fine going forward until one day, they just weren’t and changed their entire attitude. They were upset I wouldn’t give them another $7k for a trial I didn’t even want. I wanted to settle my case and they were pushing for a trial. They stopped answering my emails, questions, etc. I didn’t want them to represent me after that, who would? However; this is after they put a motion to withdraw a year before by MISTAKE and it took 5 business days, the week of Easter, for them to message me back that they made mistake and dropped the motion. You are mess when going through a divorce and they know that and take advantage of that. I got no further with them after a year and half then I was at the beginning of the divorce. You get “sweet” Myra telling you one thing in the office and then a completely different attorney, Erika in court. I lost a contempt of court case that I paid $3k for because Erika couldn’t/didn’t present the evidence correctly. When I questioned her about it, I was told too late to change the judges decision and redirected to another matter. With the office turn over rate as high as it is there; you know something isn’t right. You will be left traumatized all over again.

I highly reccomend Flensner Wentzel Law firm. They are compassionate, but also fierce lawyers! I don’t know what I would have done without them. They really know what they are doing, and I have dealt with a few law firms. I cannot express well enough my gratitude for Erika and Mayra and their team!

Words can not express the amount of dedication given by this firm. The whole process from start to finish is explained and the expectations are clear. We love them all and will never use anyone else.

If you are a woman/Mother (and/or the ‘SAFE PARENT’) in your case… know that this firm, specifically one of the partners, Erika Wentzel, is one of the worst presenting attorneys I have ever witnessed… I am not referring to her actual appearance, but the heftily billed legal services and shameful strategies that the biological Dad (former partner and traumatizing ABUSER) hired this firm to perform. Don’t let the female-owned firm fool you into believing that they are approaching our failing Family Courts system differently or in ways that better ensure the prioritization of CHILDREN and their BIRTHright to safety/wellbeing.

We were so lucky to have Erika and Mayra help us navigate a legal issue with our daughter while she was at college 3 hours away. They made what could have been a very time consuming situation on our end super easy.

The Flesner Wentzel law firm was the best choice I made for my divorce. I got everything that I wanted. They didn’t pay me to say any of these things. I’m surprised by some of the other 1 star reviews because I’ve had the opposite experience.They knew I didn’t have a lot of money and made a payment plan for me that I could afford. They always gave me options based on cost and what outcome I would get from the choices I made. They told me to save up money for certain parts of the case as they wanted me to know what they would be charging me for later. They told me what rules I needed to follow for my divorce case. They made it easier to go through the process by telling me what I could expect from the whole process. I feel as though I got everything I paid for, and it was worth it. Good luck to anyone going through a divorce. You should do research of your options before hiring a lawyer because it is expensive no matter who you hire.

They’re a complete joke! Especially Josie. Save your money find another law firm that will work for you. They’ll threaten to withdraw from your case a month after taking $1600 from you. You can’t let them know you don’t feel like they’re representing you the way we feel the should be or they’ll withdraw instead of asking you what you feel they could be doing to help your case. I don’t feel they actually looked into the stacks of paperwork my sister gave them. They won’t actually look into your situation and they’ll side with the other party. Reading more recent reviews I should have known better because those reviews are very similar to mine with paying thousands and not getting the service that was expected and threatening to withdraw very quickly. Josie only got her degree as an attorney a month ago and they’re all freaking clueless. I hired them for my sister because when she spoke with Mayara before we hired her, and my sister told her about the situation she said it was a case she would be able to handle and basically told my sister a bunch of lies. They also told us over the phone before hiring them that they wouldn’t charge us for emails and phone calls which was also a lie. We got charged for every email and every phone call! Should have recorded the original phone call. Won’t be paying them another penny! Crooks and should have their license removed

Horrible company. Was dealing with a custody issue and had to hire an attorney. Found them and wish i never did. Not only where they a waist of time, money and they lie to their clients. I thought 4 heads was better than one but all it did was make things worse for me and my family. Everything was going ok in the beginning until i noticed a few issues with them. One red flag was the first day i hired them they didnt show up to court. Instead my x gf lawyer came to me saying my lawyer on the phone with him “to the judge” and was asking for a continuances. They promised to fight and i got mislead. I was making one of my normal payments and ran into a issue and explained to them i might need to do a payment plan for that months bill. They agreed and i made my first payment of 200 dollars and was to pay 200 a week until 800 was reached. Now note the month prior i gave them 600 and the month before that 500 and prior to that month 1500 to get them on the case. After paying my first 200 a couple days later i was threaten with a motion to withdraw had the order in place and would only reverse the motion if i agreed to sign papers saying they will di future work which they wanted 1500 upfront again. Now out of me throwing them all of this money. They didnt help with anything besides charge me for them contacting me lol yes. If you call or speak to them on their website its costly. Then they will call you for something simple then bill you up to 800 or more. Even if you tried to refuse the call. They keep calling until someone pick up then guess what they charge you. During this mess they tried to say i was reading the message wrong. Once i ss the convo and showed her the catch 22 they out me in instead of sorry n fix this mess. They acted as if i was dumb and took it the wrong way then explained how Emily said it wrong. This company a mess and the lack of communication between the four will ruin cases. Save your money n find someone who will fight for you.
