Stephan A Manko has the WORST customer service. He’s extremely rude with a $3800 retainer fee, that he will take regardless if he completes the case or not. My father recently passed away in an extremely messy case before it started, Stephan ignored our calls, dropped the case and said because he’s dead there’s nothing more he wants to help with and the retainer fee was kept. Extremely disrespectful lawyer, unprofessional, hard to get ahold of, would not recommend.

Do yourself a favor – google search Lapeer attorney and pick literally any other one. He was never prepared. Often prepared in the court room while waiting for case to be called. Had to check my bill for being mis-charged or billed multiple times for the same thing. I question the positive reviews here. Go somewhere else.

Nothing about my experience as his client gave me any reason to recommend him to anyone for what I paid unfortunately in fact I’d probably suggest that someone find a cheaper option because the only difference would be how much they spent.

After receiving alarming mail from another law office TWO days AFTER a court date, I quickly hired Steve and I am so glad I did. He took everything I had and is working on my case. I am able to rest my mind knowing someone I can trust is taking care of things for me. Highly recommend hiring Steve if you want someone you can trust to take care of things.

Steve is an incredible attorney! I had a terrible experience with an attorney before I met with him. He took over my case and is actually fighting for me and I’m very grateful for him. His office people are incredible too! Nancy and Lisa (and I can’t remember the other one!)

I met with Steven on Wednesday and paid him to to file paperwork in court. He thought he could get the job done by emailing and texting my ex-wife’s lawyer. I called back three times within a week for an update only to find out he went on vacation for 2 weeks. He did not file paperwork or get a reply from the other lawyer but felt he earned his money. I feel he stole from me and I would not recommend this man as a lawyer.

We hired Attorney Manko to assist with Probate after my father passed away. Hew knew how to assist my mom and was very understanding during a difficult time. As such, we also hired him to draft my mother’s Will. He is fair, competitively priced and I definitely recommend his services.

Mr. Manko takes ample time to walk u through the process that u will encounter.

This lawyer was negligent and incompetence is an understatement. This man absolutely refused to go to trial and forced a plea on a dismisable charge. I am currently working to clean up the mess he made of my situation.

This guy is an absolute scumbag in my opinion. Stephen A. Manko will take your money, no problem there. If you need to get rid of some extra cash this is your guy, again just a personal opinion. Good luck, if you have any morals look elsewhere (last time, just a personal opinion).
