My girlfriend at the time who was a single mother, worked two jobs as a nurse and was in school full-time to become a nurse practitioner had an awful experience with David White. Not only was he not professional when we went to court, he couldn’t remember any details about her case and even called her by the wrong name, her ex-husband‘s name Who was the defendant in the case. His performance in court was poor to say the least, he couldn’t convey our case to the judge. My fiancé had to step in and negotiate the case herself, which was a child support case. Then, when Mr. White found out that her ex-husband had filed bankruptcy after the court had ordered for the ex-husband to pay court cost and Lawyer’s fees, Mr. White proceeded to try to get more money out of my girlfriend who had already paid him $6000. She had to borrow that from family members and from me. When she questioned Mr. White about the extra money, he got very nasty and unprofessional, then sent her an email threatening to charge her with criminal extortion for requesting a Louisiana Bar Association fee dispute hearing which is listed on his own fee agreement as a resolution. Of course with her not knowing anything about the law and luckily with me growing up with lawyers in my family and being trained in the law, I was able to comfort her because she was crying, thinking she was going to be charged with a felony. I had to explain to her that she couldn’t be charged with a felony because she had literally just ask for what it stated on his fee agreement. He proceeded to sue her while he was still representing her as his client. He was literally still the attorney of record and filed a lawsuit against his own client. Not only is David White, unprofessional, unethical, and a poor Lawyer, but he lacks professional conduct and his actions against a single mother working two jobs in school full-time who is also a first responder were not just lacking empathy but were borderline criminal and in most other States would have gotten him disbarred. So I tell you as someone who has been dealing with lawyers, most of my life that he is the absolute worst lawyer in the countless lawyers I’ve dealt with and do not waste your money or your time with this man!
I would like to share my experience of what I observe with David white. I would have to say. David white is an excellent attorney for what I’ve seen in court even though he was representing the other side. But what I am deeply disturbed about his david white was able to collect money from the defendants that owes me money. The smiths & Simon have been on me money since june 2 2024 . This family have scammed my family.Out of our money. I saved they’re home out of foreclosure Had a deal in writing after everything paid an in writing ✍️ the smiths & Simon decided to break the deal. That would have been fine if I was allowed to get my belongings out. The property also, the money been transferred to my realtor company. As agree. This family has played every type of game.And everybody is making money off of me including david white, who I seen in court get paid

David White is very professional and down to earth. Sort of laid back. The front office staff are professional also. This is is one of the best I have ever used. They will handle case very swiftly and will further communicate with you.
Very brush off clients, not informative of what’s going on, has a whatever you want to do toward clients cases doesn’t really inform you of anything EXEPT when bills are due. likes communication from lawyer to lawyer without informing the client to expense clients. if cases take to long, not short and sweet, clients get passed over and forgotten about. Very much a lazy attorney. I personally fired Mr. white after real damage has been done in a family law case which he should have done himself.
