Waste of money

Doug Vowels is by far the best attorney in Meade county KY. He has represented me twice now and always felt like he actually cared about what was happening in life!!!! I definitely recommend DOUG VOWELS!

Doug P. Vowels, the attorney who should be on trial for having a personality that’s more sour than expired yogurt. Trying to advocate for myself with him was like trying to high-five a ghost – elusive and utterly unresponsive. It felt like he was allergic to my case, sneezing out rude remarks every time I spoke. In the legal marathon, he sprinted for the opposite side. Eventually, I had to tag in his colleague, who turned out to be the superhero sidekick I needed. Three years and 3k later, I left with the legal equivalent of a participation trophy – thanks, Doug, for the bare minimum and a lifetime supply of eye rolls.

I was facing a double jeopardy charge in Meade County & he assured me that he would get it dismissed due to the fact that I had already plead guilty to the same charge in Hardin County. He is a good lawyer

He’s like a court appointed lawyer, not one that’s working for the client. he didn’t show up for court once and lied to me saying that I was called and the prosecuting attorney and judge wasn’t even aware that he wasn’t going to be there, I miss work that day. He knew that I wasn’t happy with him and I said that I was going to represent myself and was told that I wasn’t smart enough. I threaten to turn him into the Bar Association and realized that was no different than the person the ratted on me. So instead I’m just going to voice my opinion. Give your money to someone that’s going to fight for you. he also told me it would be 5 hundred to have the felony removed and is now saying 750, plus 500 court cost plus 40 for background check. He will miss lead you..
