Our family didn’t expect to need attorneys but were so fortunate that we were referred to Marquess & Hoyer! The attorneys (Mike and Wes) and the legal assistants (Teresa and Nick) were so knowledgeable and kind and communicated with each of us so well! They helped us understand the legal process as well as prepping us for the trial. We first worked with them during covid and video calls. By the time we met in person, we were quite comfortable with them and respected their knowledge and approach to the case. I strongly recommend their law firm and the integrity of each of them both personally and professionally!

We had the misfortune of having a sibling steal a great deal of money from our parents. Mike Marquess and Wes Hoyer, along with their staff, gave us the support and strength to hold the family member accountable. They remained with us and kept us updated through dozens of delays by the other side. When we had questions (and there were many) the staff was an email or phone call away. We always got a speedy response from someone on the team. Their communication with us throughout this ordeal has been amazing! When it came time for our trial they had listened to our dilemma so well, that I felt like they had experienced it with us and knew it as well as we did. They calmed our nerves and prepared us for what to expect, making an awful experience not so awful. They anticipated the lies from the other side and were ready to prove them as such. Their words painted a picture for the judge that was clear to see. The judge overwhelmingly found in our favor. The other side has appealed. Mike and Wes are again preparing us for what is to come. When this is over, I hope to never need them again, but would not hesitate to call them if needed.
