If you care about justice, if you care about seeing your kids, if you want a lawyer who CARES… do yourself a favor and just skip C Dechert. Retained him in Jan 2023 and didn’t speak w him until 3 business days before my hearing in July 2023. Think he looked at my evidence? Think he prepped me for testimony? Think he was prepared for proper legal representation with just speaking to me 72 hrs before my court date? No, he was too worried about his own personal DUI case in Aug 2023. His mind wasn’t with me and my family. Maybe he’ll be better for you…if you’re into gambling. Saddest $ I’ve ever spent.

I sought Craig Dechert as counsel for a matter involving a motorcycle accident. While I was impressed with his record for being an outstanding attorney, everytime I looked at my phone to recall some messages and look at documents, he would sneak a few sips of my coffee. When I would catch him, which was every single time as he was in eye shot, he would mumble and insist that he was not.

Very down to earth and very helpful. Not just about money to them. I only had Craig and he’s my choice every time. Very smooth in the courtroom. Great courtroom presence.

He tends to go through assistants rather quickly. Decent lawyer if you can get ahold of him!

Brent did not contact me for 2 months since paying his office ladies $1000 to file for custody for my son. He also never sent out a sopoena/summons to my sons mother so she knew she needed to show up to court. Noome to find out his office staff sent personal info of mine to the wrong address, such as my statements, what’s going on my end of the whole situation. Highly NOT recommended. I’ve gotten nothing but laziness and mess ups from this law office. I’m definitely contacting the American Bar Association to have these issues resolved. Save your time and money people.

Craig is by far one of the best and I only had him as a public defender so I can only imagine hiring him as a private attorney
