10/2024 5* I worked with Jim for 2 years on a divorce. Though I did not want this. Jim was able to guide me and encourage me through it all. Hope to never need him again. But if I do have something, he will be my first call. I highly recommend Jim to everyone.
Jesus where do I begin with these pettifoggers. If an attorney asks you what you want to do about a claim and said no i Can’t do that or no it won’t work run. Take it upon yourself in small claims. These people were referred to by legal shield and complete waste of time. Saw high ratings and thought I’d get decent advice not a lecture about how every aspect the other party can do is justified. The judicial branch needs major oversight over lawyers that specifically prey upon clients with big claims for the payout and leave the small claims alone even though they are legit. Better off hiring Jamie Dutton off Yellowstone at least he takes every case seriously.
Jim was extremely helpful when it came to assisting with a curveball issue with my ex. He was always quick to respond, professional and was able to handle the matter with ease. Would highly recommend him for any family law needs.
Do not recommend working with James. We tried working with him on a prenup but had the following issues:

I reached out to James to handle my divorce as a precaution. No kids or property were involved so it should have been a quick transaction yet it was somehow dragged out to almost a two year process. I’ve never gone through a divorce and I must say this lawyer made the emotionally draining experience that much worse. If I ever need a lawyer in the future, I would never use him again or recommend based on my experience.
Hands down the best lawyer i have dealt with. James actually cares about his clients situations and Accommodate their needs. He helped me get visitation of my daughter back quickly despite dealing with covid-19 setbacks with courthouses. I can honestly say he has given me more results and charged far less than any other lawyer I have had in the 5 years dealing with my daughters mother trying to keep me out of her life. We used Jim for my mothers bankruptcy lawyer. My mother is elderly, (93) and we really didn’t know what our options were. Jim was able to go over everything and help my mother out completely. Also, because of her age and health, she has trouble getting around anywhere. Jim was able to help get the bankruptcy trial remotely and via conference call. That was a tremendous burden lifted.
