Do not recommend Libby law firm for tenant lawyer! I called Monday Mar 3rd requesting a call to speak to an attorney. Never reviewed a call back! I call several days and every time I get the same answer “I’ll make sure Mr Libby receives your message and calls you back! It’s been two weeks! Don’t waste your time as mine has been wasted!

I had a wonderful experience with Mr. Libby. He represented me on a probate issue involving a claim on an insurance policy. After reviewing my documents, Mr. Libby gave his honest opinion of the case, never over promising, providing legal counsel and much needed guidance. Once I paid the retainer within 24 hours Mr. Libby put all parties on notice and stopped the distribution of funds. I never saw any excessive or miscellaneous charges on my monthly statements. He does stay rather busy so be patient with his firm, but he has always updated me on the status and progress of the case. I truly believe that if I went with another attorney, they would’ve easily found a way to consume my retainer much faster. Mr. Libby represented my spouse’s family in a guardianship matter. The judge named me as my spouse’s guardian. My spouse passed away and Mr.Libby continued to email me with disrespectful emails as well as emailed the judge and told her not to complete the order o

I stumbled across the profile for Kasey Libby while researching another prospective probate attorney. Because he has good reviews I decided to engage him instead of the initial attorney. I totally regret this decision. I engaged him primarily to handle a dispossessory issue related to the probate of my late mother’s estate and to handle other simple procedures related to the estate. My case was not complex in the least but I engaged Mr. Libby because I didn’t have as much time to do it myself (in the end I ended up doing most of the work myself). He appears to truly be a sole practitioner and doesn’t seem to have an assistant with the exception of the person who collects your retainer and, in my case, refunds what’s left of it when I decided to conclude the relationship. As a result he is VERY unresponsive. It often took multiple phone calls and email messages to get a response. If he is really that busy I would have preferred that he decline to take my case rather than taking it and doing almost nothing with it. Perhaps he is well versed in probate law and maybe that is what contributes to the positive reviews. However, my experience was very disappointing and I was really not impressed.
