I was so impressed with Mr Dempsey at first. He has all the credentials and experience but mine turned out not so well. Eight months later I was still trying to get our deed to the home my parents left us fixed. It started out at 2k and 8 months later it was 6k and he was asking for more money. I finally had to hire a different attorney who completed the whole process in 2 months and less than 4k. Mr Dempsey had alot going on and I was very understanding until the January 3rd invoice and his statement on January 8 ,he would not proceed any further till it was paid. I paid every invoice withing 5 days so that infuriated me and caused me to go elsewhere. I would recommend getting an upfront cost from him and not agree to a monthly bill called retainer…I am sure he is a great immigration attorney but maybe probate is a learning experience.

I was disheartened when my N-400 was denied, and that was after a year and a half of battling the bureaucracy of USCIS (which included 2 interviews, 2 RFEs, a 1447b lawsuit, it was messy stuff). At that point, I decided that DIY was no longer a smart strategy, and someone on Reddit recommended Chris to me.
