Professional closing experience last week provided with the assistance of Ms. Higgins and Ms. Caster, Esq.. Federal Title & Escrow (FTEC) saved the day for me when a previous escrow company almost foiled a property sale. I highly recommend the services of FTEC for your closing needs. Federal Title at the 14th street location was a joy to work with on closing on our Condo in DC. We had a very difficult closing due to our original Lender. Federal Title was on top of making sure everything was updated when we had a last minute lender switch. They were very prompt in answering any questions via phone call or email along the way as well. I would recommend them and will use them myself in future transactions.

One of the best experiences I’ve had with a mortgage/title team. Ben Raffel in particular went above and beyond to ensure I was able to close on time. Even after some obstacles and challenges popped up a few days prior to closing, Ben spent his personal time to ensure all was smooth on closing day. Thanks to all! Semper Fidelis.

I can’t say enough great things about Federal Title (FT). This is the second time I selected FT for closing, and they went above and beyond to make our home purchase as smooth as possible. Anthea and the FT team are very responsive and detail-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile. It also doesn’t hurt that FT’s fees are very competitive.

100% recommend. The entire team made this the easiest process ever. It almost felt like something was wrong…..it was that easy. They were super communicative, accurate in everything they did, and went out of their way to be helpful to us.

Had a terrible experience on the seller side. Despite being the client, we had to do all the work to ensure our condo closed on time. I do not recommend – especially as the seller – there are many other reviews with a similar experience! To top it all off, they sent me an unsigned escrow check.

Federal Title/Stephanie saved the day for me today. I had a complicated transaction on buying a MF with a refi on another property. There were numerous balls in the air to juggle – coordination with DC, seller, banker, lawyers. Stephanie’s expertise helped us push to the finish line even when the outside lawyers who were supposed to know didn’t. That’s why I come back to Federal for all my closing activities as an real estate investor.

We had a fantastic closing!! It went off without a hitch. As first time home buyers we were very nervous and expecting a long drawn out process based off o the horror stories we had heard from friends. But it went so smoothly we were surprised and even asked at the end if they were sure that was it! Karen Proctor handled our closing and she was awesome!! Very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything thoroughly as we went along and also made sure we knew what to expect post closing. I would not hesitate to use them again!

Wow this company is awful. They get two stars for completing the work, but the process to get there was horrible. Prepare to constantly check their work and write emails to get any kind of update from them. I will NEVER use this company again and certainly do not recommend them.
