I had a very prompt response time from the office to schedule my consultation call. They were very informative, from the man who to my initial information (Didn’t catch name), to Leslie Shafer who was my legal consultant. Leslie was kind and very up front about any fees or payment as well as answered all of my questions and explained the process thoroughly.

Worst law firm ever. Jared West is not a lawyer. He is a swindler. He will lead you to mistakes. I don’t believe if he really went to a law school. I have contacted to BBB as well.

In response to Burnham Law: apparently it is not, because I was just able to finalize my divorce without it, with the professional help of a different law firm that didn’t push me into the use of a business evaluator. Also, let’s be 100% transparent and honest here. You had 3 months to tell me about a ‘knowing waiver’. Instead, your lawyers told me EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE all that time, i.e. that no specialists would be needed in case of an amicable settlement. Happy to share those emails to show other people about your very shady handling of my case. Only when you learned we were headed for a settlement outside of court and in the advanced stages of reaching a full agreement (i.e. no more money for you) did you mention a business evaluator was ‘indispensable’. You were clearly trying to push for more conflict = more money. Extremely bad practice that falls within the sad cliche of US law firms being all about money, not about people.

I am just starting a new case with Burnham Law. The start of it has not gone well with them. But then, I luckily got forwarded to Donna Bystricky, the Firm Manager, who went above and beyond to make sure the issues were fixed. Sometimes you get paired with a lawyer that you just don’t jive with, don’t be afraid to speak up, talk to Donna, and see what magic she can work. I hired this law firm for a custody battle, they were atrocious. Eric Almost cost me my time with my daughter. He Sent a very unprofessional and inexperienced young lady to defend me on my first case and the opposition ate her alive as she studdered and didn’t speak in complete sentences. They would lie to me about dead lines and tell me things such as evidence were due with a 24/48 hour notice. Eric was the lead lawyer and was slow to reply to me, with me having to wait days up to a week to hear back from him. He was not dedicated to my case what so ever. My case wasn’t taken serious with this firm. (Keep in mind my child was in a household with a violent felon, who had kidnapping charges.) I then hired Jones law firm and Erin Mullen won me almost full custody of my child. Don’t waste your time here. Burnham law firm is money hungry and lazy.
