Don’t every trust these people they charged me well over $7,000 and then filed the paperwork with the courts in the incorrect order so the court wouldn’t look at the cases because the one that should have been done first was filed to be looked at after the one t should have been second then to top it off they never even had a lawyer show up at court with me just told me to go on my own with the paperwork they had filed incorrectly so whole thing got thrown out by court and they told me I would have to pay them again to refile and the never even showed up it was their mistake I went to a local attorney he charged me $900 and got the whole thing done is like 3 weeks without a flaw I never even had to go to court myself higdee and associates are terrible

These people are targeting me for the same copyright although the photo I used had credit given and it was my friend’s band. I hate these people and they also are not the only law firms doing this. Absolutely unethical and predatory. Let artists me artist please.

Illegal contact, illegally entered private building, and illegally made false claims that are easily proven with dates. This firm needs to be shut down immediately. Also reporting to BBB.

I recently had a deeply concerning experience with Higbee & Associates. They sent me a demand letter, claiming I was infringing on their client’s copyright by using an image. However, after thorough research, I discovered the image in question is demonstrably under a Creative Commons license. It appears they engage in a predatory practice, attempting to intimidate individuals into paying settlements for images that are freely available for use. I am considering reporting them to the Bar Association of California.

They did a great job! They handled my case quickly and efficiently with no issues.I would highly recommend Higbee & Associates!!

Alright so a few months back, I posted a review with what was going on with my case. I gave this firm a 1 star because of the lack of communication and how they treated my case. I recieved a call from one of their employees claiming that I made a nasty review and that if I took down my last review and paid the rest of my bill, they would continue working on my case even though payment hadnt been fully paid. So of course I did what they said. Set up a payment plan, made a payment, and took down the review. Well I finally got word that after 8 months, the judge finally approved the paperwork and what not. As i was reading the paperwork filed by this firm and everything, i noticed that the judge had made a decision on my case back in may of 2024. This whole time, they had already received the judges decision and yet they kept telling me that Riverside court was backed up. I began paying for their services in march of 2024. Everytime i asked for updates, i was told the courthouse was busy and so on.

I’m a small black-owned business owner with a very small blog that has little traffic, and I have been harassed endlessly by this firm. They deserve to be put out to pasture for the terrible, dishonest extortionist ways. I plan to report them for discrimination. They’re horrible and have no morals

Scammers. My business was sent two copyright infringement notices for images used on a resale website that we have no control over or affiliation with (the site features a play on my business name and uses my business’s contact info). When I called to inform them they sent the notices to the wrong party, I was told we’re still responsible for the infringement and we need to pay up. Totally uprofessional on the phone and 100% a shakedown firm.

People that are happy to harass a small business that makes next to nothing.

Scammers. Going after Non-profit, Veteran/war memorabilia Museum for so called copyright infringement, then threatening with an ADA suit. They should be ashamed of their business practices.

Higbee & Associates is not a good firm at all. I tried to seal a minor case with them in the state of New York. They gave me a monthly payment. When I told them that I would like to pay in full, so, my case can start and finish sooner, they said no. It has to be in installment. Why? your guess is as good as mine. After I waited for almost 2 years and we went to court their attorney was not ready. Not only my seal was denied but the wait for almost 2 years was completely unnecessary. The only good thing they have is that they answer your emails within 48 hours. Don’t hire them unless you want to waste money and time.
