The only way for Sweet James to make this right is to make sure I receive at-least $7,000 because I’m the one injured not the medical doctors or Sweet James. That to me will be a FAIR SETTLEMENT!!! After 6 months of waiting for help, you would think Sweet James will care. Their profit allows them to invest in their marketing strategies (Billboards, commercials, and ads) so they won’t care for you. It’s only a strategy to help them grow and scam you.

Disclaimer: this review is intended to educate others to make sure not to choose this attorney’s office. I am aware that they’re many other injury attorney companies that actually take care of you either than making sure they take majority of your settlement. Be aware that Sweet James doesn’t care about a fair settlement for you. My settlement is still in process since my accident in January of 2025. Currently the other parties car insurance (Geico) has paid out since May 8,2025. Since the start their plan was to take majority of the settlement that is why they choose your case. They will take months, I am going onto my 6 month still waiting. The attorney wants more than $6,000 and all their own medical doctors are claiming they want over $9,000, which this is what Sweet James says that they will negotiate medical expenses but currently, I am not getting a fair settlement. The attorney is taking more than what I am and the medical facilities will receive. I am waiting for the negotiations to be processed in another month but if you think about it what will they negotiate if I am losing since the attorney will take majority of the settlement. You waste time, you experience the trauma and injuries from a totaled vehicle and yet the attorney wants to take majority of settlement. So I hope others won’t make the same mistake I did in choosing Sweet James. They will not settle for you to receive a fair settlement. It’s all lies just like I’ve dealt with four different individuals from Sweet James ( Jennifer, Emily, Bryan, and Tracey), which I spoke with Tracey earlier this week and she assured me that, Sweet James will take a month to finalized negotiations for medical bills. After last week Bryan mentioning that they have an updated since May 8 and forgot to send me (Geico) insurance payout documents. It’s just to show that they will waste your time and prolong the settlement for you to receive a settlement of $5,000 or less. Which proves that they will help you so that they will receive more than you will, BE AWARE. Anyone you speak to in this office will show you how they careless about your case. They hire receptionist’s that don’t know how to spell or have any idea how to navigate to help you get to the right person. I decided to write this review because I have waited so long for Sweet James to just profit from my injury case. Soon it will be June of 2025 and I am still waiting for negotiations to be done for medical expenses to find out how much I am really receiving. All the medical doctors and referrals are from Sweet James which I didn’t think of in the beginning it was a sign of a red flag. So Sweet James will receive over $6,000 and the medical expenses are over $9,000 which makes a total of $15,000 all together and that’s all Geico settled for. I wonder how will Sweet James make sure I receive a fair settlement if even splitting the medical expenses in half is like or about $4,500 which is way less than what the attorney(Bryan) at Sweet James is earning. So Bryan will make sure he receives majority of your settlement meantime he was not the one involved in an accident that caused an injury for the rest of my life. So I lost my car, injured my neck which is injured forever and Sweet James walks away with it all. In January 2025, all car insurance companies raised the bodily injuries requirements to 30,000/person. Sweet James did not fight for this for me on the other parties insurance which I found incredibly awful since they’re aware of laws. Seems like no one really studies your case their. So I truly regret dealing with them in such traumatic circumstances they are still trying to take advantage from you. I will not recommend Sweet James attorney’s to no one.

It took about two years for a settlement and in my opinion was not worth it. I got hit by a drunk driver. Out of the 10,000 settlement I got 2,000 back.
