To be honest this man assured me a dismissal on my ticket and came thru I was going to put 3 stars but I think he deserve the 5 because he got the job done that was promised. Took some time u have to be on it because his a very busy attorney. But do not doubt I was in full doubt until I found court and verified everything. Just keep calling and emailing, I know when u have your hands full things tend to get forgotten. But dps hits us hard like me in Cullman county he was going for a level one inspection and I passed with flying colors. All sweaty and mad he got me for improper lane change just for touching the white shoulder line. Everyone was very helpful I called about my son and Melvin wasn’t in but within the hour someone called and give me a update and didn’t leave me wondering

My calls never got returned, very few of my questions got answered, he wouldn’t put in motions that I asked him to or subpoena dhr records that I repeatedly requested. He wasn’t even putting in the bare minimum effort and it was abundantly clear that my case was not important to him at all. I ended up dropping him as a lawyer and representing myself because why pay a lawyer if I’m having to do their job for them.

Lived in Cullman for 5 years and he’s hanlded more situations than I care to admit for me ranging from divorce, adoption, tickets, custody, and some other situations and has never ceased to get results. He’s a definitely a busy guy so if you want a lawyer to spend time holding your hand and sugar coating situations you might want to look elsewhere because Melvin doesn’t waist time with the foreplay or facades. Its 100% Melvin, 100% of the time so give the guy all of your info when you present your case to him, keep him updated via email or drop off evidence and ask questions when you have them and always keep a copy for yourself to bring with you because he does listen to his clients and can adjust on the fly. He may even barrow your copy in the moment.
